Initial Consultation

In a detailed first consultation, I will inform you about the legal options and associated fees. The cost of an initial consultation is 180€. People with little or no income can apply for a so-called advisory aid cheque (Beratungshilfeschein). The application must be submitted to the district court responsible for your place of residence. In case of an advisory aid cheque, consultation costs only amount to 15€. The application for the cheque must be done before
the consultation date and the voucher has to be brought to the meeting.

If you entrust me with the representation of your legal interests, the costs are based on the German Lawyers' Compensation
Act. The amount of compensation depends on the type of engagement, complexity and scope of the case. You will be informed about any new costs at each stage of the procedure and, where applicable, costs can be paid in monthly instalments.
In a procedure before court, it is also possible to apply for legal aid if you cannot afford the costs yourself. The application form and further information are available here:
